7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of your rental:
- Use of the vehicle for illegal activities or purposes is strictly prohibited. This includes participation in racing, rallying, off-roading, or any dangerous driving. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Additionally, sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle must not be used for purposes it was not designed for, and exceeding passenger or weight limits is not permitted. Driving outside the agreed geographical boundaries requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Leigh-on-Sea is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is capped at the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
